Introduction to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
CSR refers to the way in which businesses regulate themselves in order to ensure that all of their activities positively affect society as a whole. CSR policies aim to guarantee that companies work ethically, considering human rights as well as the social, economic and environmental impacts of what they do as a business. Businesses should meet, and aim to exceed, any relevant legislation, and if legislation does not exist in a particular area, the company should ensure they carry out best practices anyway.

Who we are and what we do
Ware247 Ltd is a supplier of IT hardware, software and support services, primarily to the IT reseller market. We aim to be the supplier of choice for these products by offering good advice, fast support, speedy responses to queries and best value pricing. Our typical annual revenue is around £2M GBP per annum. We are a small family-based company focussing on lifestyle rather than corporate profits.
Looking after Employees
Staff are paid regularly and on time. Our ethos is a family run company where job satisfaction and quality of life is as important as generating profits. We have been operating like this very successfully since 2004.
Looking after Customers
We reply to requests for pricing within 1 hour, far below the industry norm. We use ethical suppliers who have a good track record with us of supplying genuine, tested products. We offer a solution which can be relied upon to deliver what has been ordered on time
Suppliers’ Standards
We require our suppliers to adhere to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and to operate in line with the Bribery Act 2010. We are committed to paying our suppliers on time and we have a good track record of successfully carrying this out.
Protecting the Environment
We recycle packaging materials where possible. Our staff are offered bicycles to commute to and from work. We do not offer company vehicles.
Community Engagement
We donate IT hardware to local charities where there is value to both parties in doing so. We have also sponsored local and Yorkshire-based charities.
